60 minutes — $120
Recurring Private Lessons are booked in fixed weekly time slots on the same day and time each week. New students are asked to commit to a four-week trial. After four weeks the rider will have the option of either concluding the trial or, if the class is a good fit for student and instructor, continuing with regular lessons. A four-week trial costs $400 ($440 starting in March 2020) and payment in full is required to reserve the space. This is a limited program and new spaces are posted online as they arise. Spaces are limited, so please do check in often for updates.
Our goal at Rock Creek Park Horse Center is to provide our students with a solid foundation both under saddle and on the ground. While our students ride primarily in the ring, there may be periodic theory ‘ground lessons’ as well as additional practice on trails at the discretion of the instructor. Weight limits may apply. If this is a concern, please read our FAQ and consult with our office.
